Here is a message from the Chairman of the Clan Association and the Taoiseach (Clan Chieftain).
Clan members are invited to participate in a Survey of Clan members about future Clan Gatherings in Ireland and North America.
The aim of the Survey is to provide the Clan Association Committee with information about the level of interest from Clan Members about their participation in future Clan Gatherings in Ireland and North America.
Here is a message from Joan Koechig, the Clan Chieftain:
Greetings from St. Charles, Missouri.
I hope it is cooler where you live. Nothing like living in Missouri in July and August with our heat and humidity!!!
I wanted to let you know that a decision has been made about our International Get-Together in Ennis, County Clare. For a variety of reasons that all revolve around Covid-19, the decision has been made to push our next get-together from July 2021 to July 2022. I hope you understand. These are trying times that we are living through.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
I hope that you and your family are safe and healthy.
Here is a message from the Dysert O’Dea Castle Committee.
“As a result of Covid 19 restrictions and a severe downturn in business, including the closing of Dysert O’Dea Castle in 2020 and 2021, free admission to the Castle for members of the O’Dea Clan Association has been withdrawn indefinitely, effective from 16 March 2021, by the Castle Committee. It is hoped that Dysert O’Dea Castle will reopen again in 2022.”
We invite you to throw off the long, dark months and rise to embrace the
brighter days ahead.
