The 10th International O’Dea Clan Gathering will be held in Ennis, County Clare from Thursday 10 May 2018 to Sunday 13 May 2018.
These dates have been chosen because 10 May 2018 is the 700th anniversary of the Battle of Dysert O’Dea.

O Dea Clan DNA Project
At the 2018 Clan Gathering we will have a lecture and workshop on DNA from local expert Paddy Waldron. Some Clan members have already had their DNA done but we would like those males (sorry ladies it has to be a male!) in the Clan who have O Dea (or derivatives of the name) ancestors to take the Y-DNA37 DNA test with Family Tree DNA.
