Skupnik, George Joseph Jr., Baptized into the hope of Christ’s resurrection on Thursday, April 6, 2023 at the age of 72.
Beloved husband for fifty years of Colleen Mary (nee O’Day); father of Matthew, Nicholas, and Christopher (Kelly) Skupnik; loving gramps of Vivienne and Nora; twin brother of Carol; brother of the late Robert; dear brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, godfather, and friend to everyone he met.
George graduated from Saint Louis University in 1975 with a J.D. He joined the law firm of Kramer and Frank P.C., became a principal in 1985, and retired in 2017. He continued consulting for the law firm for five years. During that time, he devoted himself to his passion for golf, traveling with his wife, and spending time with his family.
George was a fantastic person who was a mentor to many and patriarch of the family. He will be greatly missed by all.
Services: Funeral from the SCHRADER Funeral Home and Crematory, 14960 Manchester Road at Holloway, Ballwin, Thursday, 9:30 a.m. to Ascension Catholic Church, Chesterfield for 10:00 a.m. Mass. Private interment Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Backstoppers.
