I have been recently trying to find out about my geneology. I didn’t know much about my dad’s decendents until recently. I have managed to trace his leaneage as follows:

ME (27 years old) –My Dad- His Dad–Earl L. Dees–General Leander Dees–Benford(bluford) Dees–Mark Dees–Needham Dees–Drury Dees–Emanual Dees– Emanual Dees–Andrew Dees–Thomas Deyes–Andro Deas–Andro Jonat Black Deas–Thomas Domhnall Deas–Diarmuid O’dea “the younger”–

Note-some of these could be duplicate people.

This is as far as I got. Can someone help me verify this lineage? I am just confused on how the name changed from O’dea to Dees? Was it misinterpretation or pronunciation?
