Yes. If you join the Dysert O’Dea Clan Association part way through the membership term, you need to pay the full subscription.
If you join during a membership term, the effective start date for your membership will be back-dated to the 1st of July of the year in which the last Clan Gathering was held. However, if you join in the last 6 months of the membership term, the effective start date will be forward-dated to the 1st of July of that year.
- The membership period for the Dysert O’Dea Clan Association is from one Clan Gathering to the next.
- Clan Gatherings are normally held every 3 years.
- For practical reasons, the membership period begins on 1 July and ends on 30 June, 3 years later.
- The last Clan Gathering was held in Ennis, Co. Clare in May 2018.
- The current membership period is 1 July 2018 to 30 June 2022.
- The next Triennium starts on 1 July 2022.
- If you join today, your membership term will be from today to 30 June 2025.
